You might not be able to judge a book by its cover,
but you might be able to discover people’s personalities
by the type of wine they drink.
For instance, as opposed to people who prefer red wine,
people who prefer white wine–
are more likely to stay up late, be extroverted, prefer cats,
to enjoy punk rock,
and to identify as sarcastic, curious, perfectionists.
They also spend slightly less per bottle.
On the other hand, people who prefer red over white–
are more likely to wake up earlier, be introverted, prefer dogs
to enjoy jazz
and to identify as humble, organized, and adventurous.
Those with a red wine preference
are more likely to consider themselves wine-aficionados
and to be somewhat more knowledgeable about wine.
