When office-working Americans are asked
what is keeping them from giving their jobs a better rating,
a few reasons stood out.
31% cited poor communication issues.
31% were disappointed by their company’s employee retention rate.
28% complained about staff diversity.
28% felt that their company lacked transparency.
25% voiced concerns about workplace health and safety.
On average, office workers plan to stay with their current jobs
for about five and a half more years.
53% felt they would remain longer if they got a raise.
47% would stay longer if they could receive better benefits.
40% would stick around longer if awarded a promotion.
37% could be convinced to stay longer if they could have more flexible hours.
36% would even increase the amount of time that they remained with their company
for office technology improvements,
which, btw, are very easy and affordable to make.
