37% of adults with just a high school degree or less haven’t been reading.
7% of college grads decide to eschew literary pleasures.
36% of those with household incomes of $30,00 or less decided to pursue less bookish pursuits
while
13% of affluent Americans just said no to books.
28% of adults aged 50+ did not do much in terms of reading.
whereas,
20% of those under 50–well, let’s just say they weren’t in any book clubs.
Yet, come on people. Reading can be such a joy–you don’t even have to write a report.
